ABOUT ME

What I do

I run a private psychotherapy practice in Limassol, Cyprus, where I assist individuals, couples and families to find new and more productive ways to overcome old problems.

My approach

Therapy is more helpful when we are open and genuine, which is why I bring my real self to each and every session. I invest fully in building a collaborative environment together, where we can change things for the better.

I believe in the strengths and best hopes of the people I meet, and it is truly an honor for me to be able to experience first-hand so many examples of people who do their best to overcome the odds and change their lives.

Seeing people believe in themselves and use their hidden strength is perhaps the most inspiring thing in the world for me.

Psychotherapy is not just a profession.

It is a calling.

As such, my journey towards becoming a psychotherapist began a long time ago. Along the way, I spent some years conducting research, and hold Master’s degrees in Clinical and Abnormal Psychology, as well as Neuroscience as a result.

Things came full circle and I returned back to my roots, and began practicing psychotherapy full-time. Everything that led to this point has given me a unique perspective and approach.

I hold the European Certificate of Psychotherapy, issued by the European Association for Psychotherapy, which certifies that my training and experience fulfil the professional criteria for psychotherapists all over the continent, and am a full member of the European Family Therapy Association.

I am also a former Member of the Governing Board of the Pancyprian Association for Psychotherapists (PAP), where I served for 3 years, so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding psychotherapy in Cyprus.

I now serve as a member of the PAP’s Legislative Committee, whose goal is to coordinate with the Republic of Cyprus as well as other professional associations on finalizing a formal national legislative framework for the practice of psychotherapy in Cyprus.

I enjoy writing and frequently share my thoughts via social media on a variety of subjects relevant to psychotherapy. My articles have also been featured in the newspaper Politis, on Alpha News, and Vantage Magazine, amongst others.
